Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician - Seattle, WA

We’re looking for a Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician to provide locum tenens coverage in Seattle, WA. You’ll join an experienced emergency medicine team and have access to a variety of shift options and a predictable schedule with no on-call obligations.

What the schedule looks like

• 9-hour shifts tailored to the facility’s needs, including:
  • 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
  • 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
  • 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
  • 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM
  • 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM
• Weekend coverage is required
• No on-call responsibilities

What you’ll be doing

• Deliver full-spectrum emergency care to patients who come through the ED.
• Rapidly evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of acute and emergent conditions.
• Perform emergency procedures and interventions appropriate to your scope of practice.
• Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients, coordinating transfers when needed.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
• Work closely with nurses, specialists, and the broader care team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Make safe disposition decisions - admit, discharge, or transfer - and keep accurate, timely medical documentation.

What we’re looking for

• Board Certification in Emergency Medicine
• Active Washington medical license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Current DEA registration
