Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician - Miami, FL (10-Hour Shifts, Adult ED)

Join a busy Miami emergency department as a locum tenens physician providing high-quality care in a fast-paced setting. You’ll work 10-hour shifts taking care of a primarily adult patient population with relatively few pediatric cases and no designated trauma center responsibilities.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Perform focused assessments and develop timely treatment plans.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and coordinate specialty consults as needed.
• Make disposition decisions - admit, discharge, or transfer - while stabilizing patients and initiating critical interventions when required.
• Keep accurate documentation and collaborate closely with nursing and other care team members to ensure seamless patient care.

Who we’re looking for

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine (ABEM)
• Must meet Florida medical licensure requirements
