Locum Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) - Night Shift, Level III NICU (Bismarck, ND)

Join a leading Bismarck medical center’s Level III NICU as an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner to provide ongoing night-shift coverage focused on high-acuity neonatal care and close collaboration with an established multidisciplinary team.

Compensation

• $110 per hour

Assignment Details

• Shift: Night, 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (16-hour shifts)
• Coverage: Primarily Friday-Monday nights; weekend coverage required
• On-call: Not required
• Ongoing assignment available for the right candidate

Practice Setting

• Inpatient, hospital-based Level III NICU managing critically ill newborns
• Collaborative environment with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and NICU nursing teams
• Participation in both ground and fixed-wing neonatal transports

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive, family-centered care to neonates in a Level III NICU
• Perform advanced neonatal procedures (intubation, central line and peripheral arterial line placement)
• Provide immediate neonatal resuscitation and care at high-risk deliveries
• Support interfacility and intra-hospital transports as needed
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team

Requirements

• Board certification as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
• Active North Dakota NP license
• DEA registration
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
