Locum Tenens Gynecologic Oncology Physician - Lansing, MI

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gynecologic Oncology physician for a locum tenens assignment in Lansing, Michigan. The physician will provide comprehensive outpatient and inpatient gynecologic oncology care, perform surgical procedures, and work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to manage adult patients with gynecologic malignancies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide outpatient clinic care and inpatient consultations for gynecologic oncology patients.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage gynecologic cancers and related conditions.
• Perform gynecologic oncology surgeries consistent with scheduled OR assignments.
• Manage an average clinic panel of ~20 patients per day.
• Perform approximately 3-4 OR cases per day when assigned to the operating room.
• Coordinate with medical oncology on chemotherapy oversight and treatment planning.
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage and a 1:4 call schedule.
• Maintain accurate, timely patient documentation in Epic.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
• Active Michigan medical license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Current DEA registration
