Locum Tenens Board-Certified OBGYN - Level III Trauma L&D, Cerner, $190/hr (Galloway, NJ)

Location
Pomona (Galloway area), New Jersey - Level III trauma center, inpatient hospital-based labor & delivery practice.

Compensation
$190 per hour (locum tenens).

Schedule & Coverage

• Approx. 36 hours per week.
• Shift options: Day 7:00 AM-7:00 PM; Night 7:00 PM-7:00 AM.
• Coverage primarily Monday-Friday with a mix of day and night shifts.
• No specified weekend or on-call requirements.

Practice & Patient Details

• 100% inpatient labor & delivery coverage.
• Daily census: ~1-9 laboring patients.
• Cesarean volume: ~3 per day.
• EMR: Cerner/Oracle.

Core Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient obstetric care for labor and delivery patients.
• Manage the labor floor: assessments, delivery planning, and coordination of care.
• Perform and manage labor inductions.
• Perform cesarean sections as indicated.
• Evaluate and manage gynecologic emergencies presenting via the Emergency Department.
• Provide inpatient gynecologic consultations as needed.
• Collaborate with nursing and ancillary staff to ensure safe, high-quality care.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Cerner/Oracle.

Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Board-certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
• Active New Jersey medical license required.
• Demonstrated experience in labor & delivery, including labor floor management, inductions, and cesarean sections.
• Experience managing gynecologic emergencies and providing inpatient gynecologic consults.
