- Call only coverage -- beeper call, 1:2 ratio
- 30-minute call response time required
- 3 - 6 patients seen per shift; 1 admission per shift
- PAs take first call
- Cardiothoracic surgery skills required -- open and endoscopic
- Coronary artery bypass, on pump and off pump required
- Valvular repair, replacement, and aneurysm repair required
- Congenital defect repair required -- ASD, VSD, PFO
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
- Assignment details and time entry in online portal
