- 7 on/off schedule -- days, nights, and swing shifts available
- Days avg: 20 - 22 pts; swing avg: 7 - 9 admits; nights avg: 6 - 7 admits
- Total volume approx. 265 - 300 inpatients with 40 new admits per day
- Inpatient hospital setting
- Closed ICU -- step-down unit available
- No procedures required
- HM responds to codes on own patients -- ED/CC runs codes
- New contract opportunity -- expansion of hospitalist coverage
- Paid malpractice insurance; pre-paid travel and housing expenses
