Locum Interventional Radiologist - Hospital-Based IR in Indiana!

We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist to provide locum tenens coverage in a hospital-based Radiology Department in Indiana. This role focuses on image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, delivering minimally invasive care while working closely with a multidisciplinary clinical team.

Key responsibilities

• Perform a full range of image-guided diagnostic and therapeutic interventional radiology procedures.
• Evaluate patients, review imaging, and determine appropriate procedural plans.
• Provide comprehensive pre- and post-procedure care and patient education.
• Document procedures, consultations, and follow-up in the electronic medical record.
• Collaborate with referring physicians, surgeons, and allied health professionals to coordinate care.
• Adhere to patient safety protocols and clinical guidelines.
• Respond to consultations and assist with urgent interventional needs as required.

Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology; fellowship training in Interventional Radiology preferred or required by the facility.
• Active Indiana medical license or eligibility for licensure.
• DEA registration if applicable.
• Demonstrated experience in interventional radiology procedures.
• Strong clinical judgment, clear communication, and effective teamwork skills.
• Comfortable working in a busy hospital-based radiology environment.
