Outpatient Gastroenterology NP/PA - Monday-Friday, Strong Support & High Earning Potential

Join a growing outpatient gastroenterology team in Colorado Springs as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This role offers a predictable weekday schedule, strong clinical support, and a collaborative environment - no prior GI experience required; providers with primary care or internal medicine backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

Position highlights

• Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM with a one-hour lunch
• Patient population: Adults (18+)
• Patient volume: Approximately 18-20 patients per day
• Inpatient rounding: Rotating every six weeks

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic gastrointestinal conditions in adults
• Conduct new patient consultations, follow-ups, and develop treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and lab work
• Provide patient education on disease management, medications, and prevention
• Participate in rotating inpatient rounds every six weeks
• Collaborate closely with gastroenterologists and clinical staff to deliver patient-centered care

Compensation & benefits

• Compensation: base plus 45% productivity model; uncapped earnings. Typical range $140,000-$190,000; experienced providers may earn $300,000+

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Board certified as NP or PA
• Eligible for or holding an active Colorado license
• GI or adult internal medicine experience preferred but not required
• Strong clinical decision-making and communication skills
