Lead Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Urgent Care Lead (Westbrook, ME)

We’re looking for an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our urgent care team in Westbrook, Maine and step into a Lead Provider role. What you’ll do

• Provide high-quality, evidence-based care for patients with acute illnesses, injuries, and common medical conditions seen in urgent care.
• Serve as the clinical leader for the practice, setting and reinforcing standards for patient safety and care.
• Mentor, coach, and precept new-graduate FNPs and PAs while also acting as a go-to resource for experienced providers and allied health staff.
• Support onboarding, ongoing education, and professional development for clinical team members.
• Collaborate closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, medical assistants, and administrative staff to keep the clinic efficient and patient-focused.
• Help foster a culture of teamwork, clinical excellence, and continuous improvement.

Compensation & benefits

• Salary range: $135,000-$290,000

What we’re looking for

• Current Family NP or PA certification and state licensure
• Solid clinical experience in urgent care, family medicine, emergency medicine, or a similar setting
• Previous leadership, mentorship, or precepting experience is strongly preferred
• Excellent clinical judgment, communication skills, and the ability to lead by example
• A collaborative mindset and commitment to developing early-career providers
