Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Boston, MA (Full-Time, Employed)

Well-established, growing pulmonary practice south of Boston seeks a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative, physician-led team. The role focuses on high-quality, patient-centered care for acute and chronic pulmonary conditions in a modern clinic with strong clinical support.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic pulmonary conditions
• Perform follow-up visits and ongoing disease management
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies (PFTs, imaging, labs)
• Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Provide patient education on disease management and prevention
• Accurately document encounters in the electronic medical record
• Collaborate with pulmonologists and interdisciplinary care teams

Minimum qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
• Current NP or PA certification
• Massachusetts license or eligibility for licensure
• Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Prior pulmonary experience preferred; new graduates with strong interest considered
