Pediatrician - Outpatient Faculty Role with Teaching (Martinsburg, WV)

A respected healthcare organization in Martinsburg seeks a dedicated Pediatric Physician to join a growing, collaborative team. This role offers the chance to deliver comprehensive pediatric care while participating in academic and teaching activities within a supportive clinical environment.

Position overview:

• Full-scope outpatient pediatric practice caring for patients from birth through young adulthood (up to 24 years).
• Monday-Friday schedule; 40-hour workweek.
• Outpatient setting with optional inpatient opportunities for interested providers.
• Faculty role with responsibilities in clinical teaching and mentorship.

Clinical responsibilities:

• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic pediatric conditions.
• Provide preventive care, wellness exams, and immunizations.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical records and coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams.
• Average patient volume of approximately 16-18 patients per day.

Academic and teaching responsibilities:

• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
• Support clinical teaching initiatives and contribute to a positive, collaborative learning environment.

Qualifications:

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent).
• Completion of an accredited Pediatric Residency Program.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics.
• Eligible for or holding an active West Virginia medical license.
• DEA registration required by start date.
