• Independent contractor (1099) model
• Team of 10 anesthesiologists
• Mix of inpatient and outpatient anesthesia
• Main campus: inpatient surgical services, outpatient surgery, Mother-Baby Unit
• 14 operating rooms; Epic EMR
• Diverse case mix across multiple surgical specialties; no neurosurgery cases
• No CRNA supervision responsibilities
• Primary call rotation: 1:8
• Opportunity for ownership in a joint-venture ambulatory surgery center

Key responsibilities

• Provide perioperative anesthesia care for inpatient and outpatient procedures
• Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and create individualized anesthesia plans
• Administer and monitor anesthesia during procedures; manage post-anesthesia recovery
• Participate in 1:8 primary call rotation
• Collaborate with surgeons, nursing staff, and anesthesia colleagues to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic

Qualifications

• Board-Certified or Board-Eligible in Anesthesiology
• If Board-Eligible, must obtain certification within five years of residency completion (if applicable)
• Active Indiana medical license or eligibility via the Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
• BLS required; ACLS required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
