Family Medicine Physician (Full-Time) - Outpatient Primary Care with Pediatrics, Richmond IN

Board-certified or board-eligible Family Medicine physician (pediatrics experience/training) sought for a full-time, hospital-employed outpatient role in Richmond, Indiana. Open to newly trained and current practitioners.

Schedule & Practice Setting

• Employment: Full-time, hospital-employed
• Hours: 7:00 AM-4:30 PM
• Scope: Primary care with pediatric services; comprehensive care for patients of all ages
• Team: 4 physicians, 2 nurse practitioners, LPNs, medical assistants, office assistants, and lab staff

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct outpatient care for adult and pediatric patients
• Perform physical exams; obtain and document complete medical histories
• Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, treatment plans, and preventive care
• Coordinate referrals and follow-up care
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical support staff to ensure continuity and quality of care
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with clinical standards

Minimum Qualifications

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine-Pediatrics
• If applicable, obtain board certification within five years of residency completion
• Active Indiana medical license or eligibility via Interstate Medical Licensure Compact (IMLC)
• BLS required; ACLS required if requesting conscious sedation privileges
• Maintain required certifications and professional standards
• No minimum clinical experience required
