Locum Tenens Gynecologic Oncology Physician - Lansing, MI

We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Gynecologic Oncology physician to join a locum tenens assignment in Lansing, Michigan. In this role you’ll care for adult patients in both the clinic and hospital, perform gynecologic oncology surgeries, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate comprehensive cancer care.

What you’ll do

• Provide outpatient clinic visits and inpatient consultations for gynecologic oncology patients.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage gynecologic malignancies and related conditions.
• Perform gynecologic oncology surgical procedures; OR schedule typically includes about 3-4 cases on days assigned to the operating room.
• Manage an average clinic panel of roughly 20 patients per day.
• Collaborate with medical oncology teams on chemotherapy oversight and treatment planning.
• Participate in rotating weekend coverage and a 1:4 call rotation.
• Document patient care accurately in Epic EMR.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
• Active Michigan medical license
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Current DEA registration
