Locum Tenens Mammography & Breast Imaging Radiologist - Leesburg, FL

We’re looking for a board-certified mammography radiologist to join a locum tenens team in Leesburg, Florida. You’ll focus on interpreting screening and diagnostic mammograms and performing diagnostic mammography procedures when needed, while also reading general radiology studies (X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy). Experience with musculoskeletal and neuroradiology cases is a welcome bonus.

What you’ll do

• Interpret screening and diagnostic mammography studies and perform related diagnostic procedures as required.
• Read a variety of general radiology exams, including X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
• Evaluate MSK and neuroimaging studies when appropriate.
• Keep documentation accurate and timely.
• Collaborate with the care team to ensure excellent patient outcomes.

On the day-to-day

• Typical volume is about 90-100 studies per 8-hour shift, with an expected productivity of roughly 60-70 wRVUs per shift.
• Modalities include X-ray, CT, MRI, ultrasound, and fluoroscopy.
• Case mix centers on mammography (screening and diagnostic) with additional MSK and neuro cases.
• Systems in use: Epic for EMR, Merge for PACS, and Fluency for dictation.
• No weekends and no on-call requirements.

What we’re looking for

• MD or DO degree and board certification in radiology.
• Active Florida medical license and current DEA registration.
• Proven experience interpreting mammography is required.
• Comfort interpreting general radiology studies is required; MSK and neuroradiology experience is preferred.
