Locum Interventional Cardiology Physician - Inpatient/EMTALA Call, Paducah KY

Board-certified interventional cardiologist needed for locum tenens coverage in Paducah, KY. Adult inpatient practice with EMTALA call; no outpatient clinic responsibilities.

Schedule

• 24-hour shifts (7:00 AM-7:00 AM)
• 3-7 shifts per month
• Weekends and on-call coverage required

Practice Setting & Tools

• Inpatient/EMTALA call coverage
• Adult patient population
• EMR: Epic Cupid

Core Responsibilities

• Respond to all hospital cardiology calls
• Provide inpatient interventional and general cardiology consultations
• Perform coronary angiograms, cardiac catheterizations, PCI, balloon angioplasty, and coronary angioplasty
• Interpret EKGs, echocardiograms, stress tests, including nuclear studies
• Coordinate with hospital teams to ensure timely evaluation and treatment
• Document care accurately in Epic Cupid

Requirements

• Board certified in Interventional Cardiology
• Active Kentucky medical license
• ACLS certification
• Active DEA registration
