Emergency Medicine Physician - Community Hospital near Boston (FT, Competitive Pay & Bonuses)

We’re looking for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Emergency Medicine physician to join a well-established community hospital just south of Boston. You’ll work in a collaborative Emergency Department with experienced colleagues, strong specialty support, flexible, physician-driven scheduling, and attractive earning potential.

What we offer

• Competitive base pay: $230/hour plus productivity and quality bonuses
• Annual bonus potential: up to $40,000
• Night differential: additional $325 per night shift
• Full-time schedule: 15 shifts per month (primarily 8.5-hour shifts) with flexible, physician-driven scheduling

The Emergency Department

• About 60,000 visits per year
• Coverage: 84 physician hours and 36 APP hours daily
• Overnight staffing: two physicians covering 1:00 AM-7:00 AM
• Robust specialty support including Surgery, Anesthesia, Obstetrics, Neonatology, a 24-hour Cardiac Cath Lab, and dedicated Hospitalist services

Your day-to-day

• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a wide range of emergency conditions
• Perform emergency procedures as required
• Work closely with physicians, APPs, nursing staff, and specialists to deliver high-quality patient care
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the EMR

Qualifications

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Eligible for Massachusetts medical licensure
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• ATLS required until board certification is achieved
