Locum OB/GYN Physician - Berlin, NH (Nov 9-16, 2026)

Seeking a Locum OB/GYN to provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic coverage in Berlin, New Hampshire from November 9, 2026, 6:00 PM through November 16, 2026, 6:00 PM. The role includes outpatient clinic care, ED consultations, inpatient management, labor coverage, and operative duties.

Key responsibilities

• Provide on-call coverage for outpatient visits, ED consults, and OB/GYN inpatient needs.
• Deliver prenatal and gynecologic care at the hospital-based OB/GYN clinic and the community prenatal (FQHC) clinic.
• Manage labor, perform inpatient rounds, and provide C-section coverage as needed.
• Serve as primary surgeon or assistant for gynecologic and obstetric procedures.
• Complete timely documentation using the facility’s EMR and CPOE systems; Dragon voice recognition required.

Clinic schedule
Community Prenatal Clinic (FQHC)

• Tuesdays 2:00 PM-5:00 PM and Fridays 9:00 AM-12:00 PM.
• 100% prenatal care; coverage up to twice weekly.

OB/GYN Clinic

• Typically 1-2 sessions per week (occasionally 3), usually on Mondays and Wednesdays beginning at 9:00 AM.
• Sessions last 1-3 hours depending on patient needs; roughly 90% prenatal and 10% gynecology.
• Typical volume: ~12 patients per session (≈4 patients/hour).

Additional details

• Facility averages ~80 deliveries annually.
• Scheduled C-sections are occasionally planned, usually at 8:00 AM; scheduling ideally avoids clinic mornings or delays clinic start.
• Providers new to the facility must arrive one business day prior for orientation (hospital, practice, EMR/CPOE). No night call required on orientation day.
• Use of both EMR systems and CPOE is required; Dragon voice recognition is used in lieu of dictation.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Active New Hampshire medical license.
• Current DEA registration.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
