Locums Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) - Corpus Christi, TX

We’re looking for a flexible locum Emergency Medicine provider to help staff emergency departments across Corpus Christi, Texas and the surrounding area. You’ll rotate between two main hospitals and four affiliated freestanding emergency departments (FSEDs), so comfort working at multiple sites and adapting to varied clinical settings is essential.

What you’ll do

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients presenting with acute illnesses and injuries.
• Take thorough histories and perform focused physical exams.
• Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic studies.
• Create and implement timely treatment and disposition plans.
• Stabilize patients and arrange transfers or consults when needed.
• Document encounters and plans clearly and efficiently.
• Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other team members to deliver high-quality emergency care.

What we’re looking for

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current national certification: NCCPA for PAs, or an appropriate national specialty certification for NPs.
• Active Texas license.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Willingness to float across all six locations as staffing needs require.
