Job Description

Join a physician-owned, boutique orthopedic practice in San Antonio where subspecialty care and physician autonomy are prioritized. We’re looking for a fellowship-trained foot and ankle surgeon to become part of a close-knit team of fellowship-trained specialists who focus on quality, individualized patient care rather than high-volume throughput.

Why this practice?

  • Subspecialty-driven, physician-owned model that values clinical autonomy and collaborative decision-making.
  • Boutique environment that emphasizes personalized care and surgical excellence.
  • Opportunity to work with a highly skilled, supportive clinical team and contribute to a practice committed to long-term growth and quality outcomes.
  • Pathway to equity partnership for physicians who want to invest in and shape the future of the practice.

What you’ll do

  • Evaluate and treat a wide spectrum of foot and ankle conditions, from acute injuries to complex chronic disorders.
  • Perform advanced foot and ankle surgical procedures with an emphasis on evidence-based, patient-centered care.
  • Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with patients and a multidisciplinary team to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in practice development activities that support growth and patient satisfaction.

Required qualifications

  • MD or DO from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of an accredited orthopedic surgery residency and fellowship training in foot & ankle surgery.
  • Board certified or board eligible in orthopedic surgery.
  • Eligible for medical licensure in Texas.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills and alignment with a high-touch, patient-focused subspecialty practice.

Compensation & benefits

  • Competitive base salary plus productivity-based incentives.
  • Equity partnership track.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage.
  • CME allowance and retirement plan options.
  • Generous paid time off and relocation assistance if applicable.

If you want to practice in a focused, collaborative setting where surgical expertise and patient relationships matter, this is a great opportunity to grow professionally while maintaining clinical independence.
