Emergency Medicine Physician - Flexible Schedule (Hobbs, NM)

We’re looking for a committed Emergency Medicine physician to join a close-knit team in Hobbs, New Mexico. You’ll practice in a rural, low-volume but high-acuity emergency department where your skills will have real impact. The position offers competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and solid clinical support.

What you’ll find on site:

• 12-bed emergency department with an open ICU model
• Around 16,650 annual patient visits
• Single-physician coverage supported by APPs from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM
• Advanced medical technology and EPIC electronic medical records

Schedule & compensation:

• Full-time, part-time, or PRN options available
• Day rate: $310 per hour; Night rate: $330 per hour
• Paid malpractice insurance including tail coverage
• Travel and lodging reimbursement for out-of-area providers

Qualifications:

• ABEM board-certified or board-eligible in Emergency Medicine, or board-certified/eligible in Family or Internal Medicine with ED experience
• Demonstrated emergency department experience required
• Active state medical license or eligibility to obtain licensure
