Key responsibilities

• Deliver full-spectrum obstetric care, including prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum management
• Provide routine and preventive gynecologic care: annual exams, screenings, and management of common conditions
• Perform gynecologic procedures and surgeries within granted privileges
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage a broad range of women’s health issues
• Coordinate care with physicians, advanced practice providers, nursing staff, and specialists
• Counsel patients on preventive health, family planning, and treatment options
• Maintain timely, accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR)

Qualifications

• MD or DO (or foreign equivalent) from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active West Virginia medical license or eligibility to obtain one
• Current DEA registration
