Locums Neurosurgeon (Trauma & Acute Care) - Corpus Christi, TX, Flexible 24-hr Shifts

We are seeking a locum Neurosurgeon (Board Certified or Board Eligible) to provide trauma and acute care coverage with an elective component at an ACS-verified Level II Trauma Center on the South Texas Gulf Coast. This role offers flexible scheduling, strong APP support, and the chance to practice in a modern facility while enjoying a coastal lifestyle.

Position highlights

• Trauma and acute care neurosurgery with elective case volume

• Full-time, experienced Advanced Practice Provider support
• Per-diem opportunity: 4-7 flexible 24-hour shifts per month; no additional call required

Clinical responsibilities

• Provide coverage for trauma and acute care neurosurgery
• Manage emergency and inpatient neurosurgical cases
• Perform elective neurosurgical procedures as appropriate
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams and APPs
• Maintain high-quality patient care and accurate documentation

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Active Texas medical license or ability to obtain one
• Current experience in trauma neurosurgery

Compensation & benefits

• $4,600 per 24-hour shift
