OB Hospitalist - Obstetrics & Gynecology Physician (Carmel, NY)

We are hiring OB/GYN physicians to provide hospital-based obstetric and inpatient gynecologic care in Carmel, New York. The role focuses on providing consistent, expert care for every pregnant patient who presents to the hospital and working collaboratively with local obstetricians.

Compensation & Schedule

• Salary: $300,000-$340,000 annually plus full benefits
• Full-time hospitalist position with flexible scheduling
• Typical schedule: 7-9, 24-hour shifts per month (about 21 days off monthly)
• No office administration responsibilities and no traditional on-call duties
• Opportunities for scheduling autonomy and performance bonuses

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive inpatient OB/GYN care, including management of obstetric emergencies
• Collaborate with local obstetricians, nursing staff, and ancillary services to ensure patient safety and quality outcomes
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and clinical practice standardization

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• New York medical license or ability to obtain one
• Demonstrated ability to manage obstetric emergencies and inpatient gynecologic cases
• Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
