Locums Neonatology NNP - $110/hr Night Shifts, Level III NICU, Bismarck ND

Join a leading Level III NICU in Bismarck, ND, providing consistent night-shift coverage focused on high-acuity neonatal care. This role emphasizes collaboration with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to deliver family-centered, evidence-based care.

Compensation

• $110 per hour

Schedule & Assignment

• Night shifts: 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 a.m. (16-hour shifts)
• Coverage primarily Friday-Monday nights
• Weekend coverage required
• Ongoing coverage available for the right candidate
• No on-call duty

Practice Setting

• Inpatient, hospital-based Level III NICU
• Care for critically ill and premature newborns
• Close teamwork with neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and NICU nursing staff

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive medical management for neonates in the Level III NICU
• Perform advanced neonatal procedures, including intubation, central line and peripheral arterial line placement
• Attend high-risk deliveries to support neonatal resuscitation and immediate care
• Participate in ground and fixed-wing neonatal transports
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, family-centered care
• Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

• Board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
• Active North Dakota Nurse Practitioner license
• DEA registration
• NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
