Pediatric Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) - Reading, PA - Full-Time, 4-Day Week

This full-time role offers a predictable 4-day week - three days 8:00 AM-5:00 PM and one extended day 8:00 AM-7:00 PM - so you can provide consistent care without sacrificing work-life balance.

What you’ll do

• Conduct outpatient psychiatric evaluations and provide diagnoses for children and adolescents.
• Manage ongoing medication plans and adjust treatment as needed.
• Collaborate closely with therapists, pediatricians, and support staff to create coordinated care plans.
• Communicate with families, schools, and other providers to support each patient’s needs.
• Maintain thorough, compliant documentation in line with state and federal regulations.

What we’re looking for

• Master’s or Doctorate in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Active, unrestricted Pennsylvania Nurse Practitioner license.
• Board certification as a Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; pediatric experience or pediatric certification strongly preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of clinical experience in child/adolescent psychiatry (new graduates with strong pediatric backgrounds will be considered).
• Strong communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
