Trauma Surgeon / Surgical Intensivist / Acute Care Surgeon - Level I Trauma & Burn Center (Phoenix, AZ)

We are seeking a full-time fellowship-trained Trauma Surgeon/Surgical Intensivist/Acute Care Surgeon to join a Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center in metropolitan Phoenix, AZ. This immediate opportunity is ideal for a surgeon who excels in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary setting and is committed to delivering comprehensive trauma and critical care.

Position highlights:

• Practice at a designated Level 1 Trauma and Burn Center providing the full spectrum of emergency surgical and critical care services.
• Collaborate with an experienced multidisciplinary team and report to the Chief of Trauma and the Chair of Surgery.
• Participate in a strong academic environment with teaching responsibilities and opportunities for health services, translational, or basic science research.

Requirements:

• M.D. or D.O. from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited general surgery residency and surgical critical care fellowship
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care (American Board of Surgery)
• Demonstrated expertise in emergency surgery, trauma management, and surgical critical care
• Proven record of teaching and research involvement
