University-Affiliated Anesthesiologist - Level 1 Trauma & ABA Burn Center, Academic Opportunities

We’re looking for a Board Certified or Board Eligible anesthesiologist to join a busy, university-affiliated teaching facility in metropolitan Phoenix. This state-designated Level 1 Adult Trauma Center and ABA-verified Burn Center offers a high-acuity, academically oriented practice with opportunities for an academic appointment.

What you’ll do:

• Provide anesthesia care across a broad case mix, including labor & delivery, neonatal and general pediatrics, general and robotic surgery, neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, burn care, level 1 trauma, orthopedics, podiatry, and special procedures outside the OR. You’ll also use TEE for perioperative and critical care patients.
• Manage a large clinical volume - approximately 11,000 anesthesia encounters per year.
• Supervise and teach residents (emergency medicine and surgery), CRNAs, student nurse anesthetists, and medical students.
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team in a high-volume, high-complexity environment.

Schedule and support:

• In-house call 4-5 times per month.
