Director, Laser Surgery & Aesthetics - Dermatology (Brown University)

Brown University seeks a clinician to lead and grow an aesthetic and procedural dermatology program within its dermatology practice in Providence, Rhode Island. This full-time role combines clinical leadership, cosmetic and general dermatology practice, and academic engagement in a collaborative academic environment. The position includes a faculty appointment (Assistant, Associate, or Professor) commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and expansion of laser surgery and aesthetic services within the dermatology practice
• Provide general dermatology and cosmetic/procedural patient care, including laser treatments
• Collaborate with an established cosmetic team to deliver coordinated, high-quality care
• Help design a clinical schedule that balances clinical, procedural, and academic responsibilities
• Participate in teaching, mentorship, and scholarly activity appropriate to faculty rank

Required Qualifications

• Board-eligible or board-certified in Dermatology
• Eligible for faculty appointment at Brown University (Assistant, Associate, or Professor)
• Demonstrated experience with a broad range of cosmetic and procedural dermatology, including lasers
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; commitment to patient-centered care and clinical excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• Fellowship training in procedural or cosmetic dermatology

Compensation and Benefits

• First-year salary range: $375,000-$400,000 (based on eight half-day clinical sessions)
