Locum Gastroenterologist (Inpatient & Emergency Coverage) - Redding, CA

A hospital in Redding, California is looking for a locum gastroenterologist to cover inpatient and emergency GI services at a 265-bed facility. You’ll provide comprehensive care for adult patients, handling a wide range of gastroenterology needs and performing the necessary procedures. ERCP experience is a plus but not required.

Compensation: $3,600 per day

Schedule and coverage:

• 24-hour call coverage (7:00 AM - 7:00 AM)
• Weekend coverage required
• On-call responsibilities expected

What you’ll do:

• Evaluate and manage inpatient and emergency GI patients
• Offer consultations and procedural support as needed
• Perform the full spectrum of GI procedures required by the hospital

What we’re looking for:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Active California medical license
• ACLS certification
• Active DEA registration
• Ability to perform a broad range of GI procedures
• ERCP experience preferred but not mandatory
