Locum Tenens Outpatient Neurologist - Dover/Andover, NH (FT or 3+ Weeks/Month)

Location: Andover, New Hampshire (Outpatient clinic)

Compensation

• $275-$290 per hour

Schedule & Practice Details

• Days: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Shift length: 8 hours
• Coverage: Full-time preferred; minimum availability of 3 weeks per month considered
• Credentialing timeframe: ~90 days
• Setting: Outpatient clinic only
• Patient population: Adults
• Average daily volume: 12-14 patients
• Appointment length: ~30 minutes
• Patient mix: Primarily established/returning patients
• Staffing: 3 APPs plus nursing support; no APP supervision required
• EMR: Epic

Clinical Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, treat, and provide follow-up care for adult patients with neurological conditions
• Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans; monitor patient progress
• Coordinate care with APPs, nursing staff, and other healthcare professionals
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Common conditions managed: migraines and other headache disorders, stroke, seizure disorders, multiple sclerosis (MS), sleep disorders, restless legs syndrome

Procedures

• No procedures required
• No EMGs
• No sleep studies

Requirements

• Board certification in Neurology
• Active New Hampshire medical license preferred; candidates willing to obtain NH license will be considered
• Current BLS certification
• Active DEA registration
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience
