Locum/Locum-to-Hire Family Medicine Physician - Outpatient, Corpus Christi (No Call)

We are seeking a Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician to provide ongoing outpatient clinic coverage in Corpus Christi, Texas while a permanent provider is recruited. This position operates within a value-based care model - no fee-for-service, no RVU targets, no call, and no after-hours charting. Locum tenens, locum-to-hire, and permanent placement options are available.

Schedule & practice details

• Days: Monday-Friday
• Clinic hours: 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• Start: ASAP
• Duration: Ongoing until permanent hire
• Late clinics, weekends, and call: none
• After-hours charting: none
• Providers needed: 1
• Setting: 100% outpatient
• Patient volume: ~8-16 patients/day
• Patient population: Adults only (employees and adult dependents)

Key responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care for adult patients
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions
• Perform physical exams and preventive wellness visits
• Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate follow-up care
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs; coordinate specialty referrals
• Participate in quality improvement efforts and maintain accurate documentation

• Hardware: Apple Macintosh systems across the practice
• No call obligations or after-hours charting required

Qualifications

• Board-certified or truly board-eligible in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• 2-3 years of clinical practice experience preferred
• Active Texas medical license required
• Prior outpatient primary care experience preferred
