Location: Seattle, Washington

Overview
Provide locum tenens emergency medicine coverage as part of an established ED team. Weekend coverage is required. No on-call obligations.

Shift Options (9-hour shifts)

• 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
• 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM
• 2:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• 6:00 PM - 3:00 AM
• 10:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Core Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive emergency care for patients presenting to the ED.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a wide range of acute and emergent conditions.
• Perform emergency procedures and interventions within scope of practice.
• Stabilize and manage critically ill or injured patients.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests, labs, and imaging.
• Coordinate care with nursing staff, consultants, and other team members.
• Determine and execute appropriate dispositions: admission, discharge, or transfer.
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Emergency Medicine
• Active Washington medical license
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Current DEA registration
