Job Description
We are seeking a Pediatric Critical Care Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Indiana. This inpatient position offers the opportunity to provide critical care services in a Level I Children's Hospital with a focus on complex pediatric and neonatal patients. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in pediatric critical care, including trauma, ECMO, and postoperative cardiac care.
Overview
- Newborns and pediatric patients
- Approximately 10 patients census
- 10-hour shifts, 7 AM–5 PM
- Night coverage, 5 PM–7 AM
- Shift-based scheduling with weekday 24-hour coverage needs
- EMR – AllScripts
- Documentation – Real-time or by the end of the shift
Requirements
- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in the appropriate specialty
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Significant pediatric critical care experience
- Willingness to obtain an Indiana medical license, if needed
