Job Description
Location: Port Huron, Michigan - Locum tenens opportunity for a Board-Certified Radiation Oncology physician providing primarily outpatient care to adults.
Schedule & coverage
- Coverage: Sunday-Saturday
- Clinic hours: 7:30 AM-4:00 PM
- Call coverage: 4:00 PM-7:30 AM
- Responsibilities include clinic duties and call; weekend requirements TBD
Practice details
- Patient population: 100% adult
- Setting: ~95% outpatient, ~5% inpatient
- Average volume: ~22 patients/day
Clinical responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive radiation oncology care in outpatient and inpatient settings
- Perform and manage: 3D radiotherapy, conventional radiotherapy, external beam radiation therapy
- Use 3D-CRT, IGRT, IMRT, fractionated stereotactic radiotherapy
- Deliver SBRT and SRS
- Order diagnostic tests and imaging, develop treatment plans, and prescribe radiation therapy
- Provide inpatient consultations and call coverage as needed
Requirements
- Board Certified in Radiation Oncology
- Active Michigan medical license
