Job Description
Join a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit in Bismarck, ND, providing overnight inpatient coverage for critically ill and premature newborns. This full-time, night-shift role uses Epic and includes hands-on care, participation in deliveries, and neonatal transport.
Schedule & setting
- Shift: Nights
- Setting: Inpatient, Level III NICU
- FTE: 1.0
- EMR: Epic
Core responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive, evidence-based care to critically ill and premature neonates.
- Perform neonatal intubations and place central and peripheral arterial lines.
- Attend high-risk deliveries and provide immediate neonatal stabilization.
- Participate in neonatal transport operations (ground, air, and fixed-wing).
- Collaborate closely with neonatologists and multidisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient care.
Minimum qualifications
- Board-certified Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.
- Active North Dakota licensure and DEA registration.
- Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
