Job Description
A 25-bed Critical Access Hospital in Caro, Michigan seeks a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physician for locum tenens outpatient coverage.
Schedule & coverage
- Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
- Outpatient clinic (average 15-20 patients/day)
- Participate in after-hours call on a rotation
Patient mix
- ~90% adult and geriatric
- ~10% pediatric
Key responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Provide general pediatric outpatient care as needed
- Participate in after-hours call rotation
- Coordinate referrals and continuity of care
- Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
Requirements
- Board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Active Michigan medical license
- BLS and ACLS certifications
