• Full-time
• Two weeks on / two weeks off
• 183 24-hour shifts per year
• Additional shifts compensated at $4,500 per shift

• Annual base: $823,500

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive neurosurgical care for inpatient and outpatient populations
• Perform cranial and spinal surgical procedures
• Evaluate and manage emergency and inpatient neurosurgical consultations
• Provide preoperative and postoperative patient management
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely medical documentation

Minimum Qualifications

• MD or DO from an accredited medical school
• Completion of an accredited Neurosurgery residency
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurosurgery
• Active Illinois medical license
• Demonstrated surgical proficiency across neurosurgical procedures

Procedural Case Minimums (past 12 months)

• Spinal surgical cases: ≥50
• Cranial surgical cases: ≥10
• Peripheral nerve cases (if requesting): ≥5
