Occupational Medicine Physician | Center Medical Director - Elizabeth, New Jersey

The Opportunity

Lead an Occupational Medicine center in Elizabeth, New Jersey, as Physician Center Medical Director. Training is provided in Occupational Medicine.

Schedule

Many clinics offer Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM hours with no nights, no weekends and no holidays, along with 30+ days off a year.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary of $249,619 - $356,252 per year, with annual merit increase opportunity

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, leading by example and creating an exceptional patient experience
• Provide leadership in healthcare management to ensure day-to-day execution of the medical model, collaborating with therapists and specialists to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure
• Manage clinicians and support staff, and comply with APC supervisory requirements
• Create a professional and collaborative working environment
• Work with leaders to identify and implement changes for continuous center improvement
• Maintain relationships with center clients and payers
• Work with center leadership to manage clinical and support staffing levels
• Foster an environment of collaboration, professionalism, patient and colleague safety, quality care and continuous improvement
• Provide input to the center budget and key business metrics

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted medical license
• Unrestricted DEA license and dispensing license for the state of jurisdiction (required prior to start date)
• Eligible to participate in Medicare
• Board certification or eligibility in an ABMS or AOA recognized specialty preferred
• FMCSA NRCME certification preferred, or willingness to obtain
