**OBGYN – Female Pelvic Medicine & Reconstructive Surgery (Urogynecology)**
**Location: Johnson City, TN**
Position Highlights
• Full-time academic faculty opportunity within an established Obstetrics and Gynecology department.
• Join a growing academic health system serving Northeast Tennessee, Southwest Virginia, and surrounding Appalachian communities.
• Replacement position with an opportunity to become a leading regional specialist in Urogynecology.
• Potential opportunity for Division Leadership.
• Established referral base with significant demand for pelvic floor and reconstructive services.
• Opportunity to develop and expand Urogynecology services across a multi-hospital regional network.
• Robust surgical practice with access to advanced minimally invasive and reconstructive procedures.
• Advanced Practice Provider support in the office.
• Active involvement in resident and medical student education.
• Collaborative environment with experienced OB/GYN physicians, subspecialists, and advanced practice providers.
Clinical Responsibilities
• Evaluate and manage:
o Pelvic organ prolapse.
o Urinary and fecal incontinence.
o Overactive bladder and voiding dysfunction.
o Vaginal and pelvic floor disorders.
o Complex gynecologic reconstructive conditions.
• Perform vaginal, laparoscopic, robotic, and open reconstructive procedures as appropriate.
• Participate in academic teaching, mentoring, and resident education.
• Engage in departmental quality improvement and scholarly activities.
Qualifications
• MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an accredited OB/GYN residency.
• Fellowship training in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery (FPMRS).
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in FPMRS.
• Eligible for Tennessee medical licensure.
