Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon Opening in Joplin, MO
Full-Time | Hospital-Employed
An opportunity is available for an Orthopedic Sports Medicine Surgeon to join a collegial, community-focused surgical team in Joplin, Missouri. The position offers a supportive orthopedic environment, access to established surgical facilities, and opportunities to work with local high school and college athletic programs.
### Opportunity Highlights:
- Join a team of fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeons.
- Comfortable call rotation supported by an Orthopedic Hospitalist and APP extenders.
- Main campus includes 9 operating room suites within a 340-bed Level II Trauma Center and a 41-bed ICU.
- Two outpatient surgery suites, with X-ray and MRI available in the clinic.
- 24/7 anesthesia services.
- Opportunities to partner with area high school and college athletic programs.
- Established administrative, nursing, and physician extender support.
- Access to an affiliated rehabilitation and sports medicine facility with physical therapists and athletic trainers.
- Epic EMR.
- Teaching opportunities with medical students and residents.
- Residency stipend available.
### Compensation and Benefits:
- Generous guaranteed compensation transitioning to an RVU-based production model.
