The Medical Center at Bowling Green is a 337-bed facility that has been providing high-quality healthcare services to the area since 1926. What began as City Hospital is now a broad-ranging healthcare company that serves the healthcare needs and improves the quality of life for communities throughout Southcentral Kentucky. In 1984, Commonwealth Health Corporation (CHC) was formed as a not-for-profit holding company for The Medical Center at Bowling Green and other health-related businesses. Today, CHC is known as Med Center Health and is one of the largest employers in Southcentral Kentucky with more than 3,700 employees.
