Salina Regional Health Center is now seeking Family Medicine Physicians to join our team!!
About COMCARE
- Work in a brand new facility with capacity for 15 physicians; onsite lab and imaging.
- 18 family medicine physicians on staff in three locations
- Ability to choose your scope of practice; option to do outpatient only, inpatient obstetrics and endoscopy
- After hours phone call only; 1:9
- Work Monday to Friday 8 to 5

Salina Regional Health Center
· Level III trauma center with 8 operating rooms
· Certified for 365 beds; average census is 150-160
· Patient tower built in 2009 with 100% private patient rooms with lifts
· 18 bed ICU, renovated in 2013 with intensivist coverage
· Salina Regional Medical Group employs 68 physicians and 43 APP’s
· Specialties available for patients include; 24/7 cardiothoracic surgery, 24/7 neurosurgery, oncology, neurology, orthopedic surgery & more!
· Great work environment & resources as the average physician tenure is 17 years!
· Salina has a population of 50,000 but due to its location, pulls in patients from a region of 250,000!
Labor & Delivery Information
- Level II Neonatal NICU
- Locked unit
- 8 rooms for labor & delivery; 16 post-partum
- Some rooms have surgical beds, others queen size beds; babies stay with Mom
- 1 Emergency OR & Recovery Room
- Always a physician resident on the floor during the day, M-F
- Specialized nursing staff
- 1200 deliveries per year
- Fetal monitoring in specific rooms
- Other rooms; anesthesia room, tub room, hearing screening room for babies
- Deliveries, 34 weeks and later
- Anesthesia is available 24/7; not in house during evenings and weekends; 30 minute response time.

Salina Regional Health Center is expanding specialty care access with a new 90,000-square-foot, three-story multispecialty clinic and outpatient surgery center designed to support physician efficiency, collaboration, and long-term growth while serving patients across central and western Kansas. The integrated facility brings clinic services, imaging, therapy, surgery, laboratory, and pharmacy together in one location to streamline workflows and enhance coordinated care. The first floor features an orthopedic clinic, a 5,000-square-foot therapy gym, and on-site imaging; the second floor houses general surgery, gastroenterology, and ENT specialty clinics; and the third floor includes a state-of-the-art surgery center with six robotic-ready operating rooms, endoscopy suites, and 38 pre- and post-operative bays. Designed with flexible clinical space, modern technology, and dedicated physician support areas, the center promotes efficient patient flow, practice growth, and a collaborative environment that supports both provider productivity and patient experience.
