Seeking General Surgeon 2 hours S of Nashville – Florence, Alabama
North Alabama Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified General Surgeon to join a hospital – employed group in Florence, Alabama. The incoming physician will join a group of 4 Physicians in a single specialty group located on the hospital campus.
North Alabama Medical Center (NAMC) is a 263-bed health care organization that opened a replacement hospital in 2019. NAMC has grown into the largest, most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama and serves as the primary referral center for northwest Alabama, south central Tennessee and northeast Mississippi. There are over 200 physicians on staff representing over 42 specialty areas of medicine. North Alabama Medical Center is a primary stroke center and a certified chest pain center.

ECM has grown into the most comprehensive medical facility in northwest Alabama, south central Tennessee, and northeast Mississippi. The facility is the home of northwest Alabama’s only full-service heart/cardiac program. Our cardiac physicians offer the latest diagnostic and medical treatments available, along with the community’s only open-heart surgery suites and recovery facilities. ECM’s 24-hour emergency department serves as the primary referral center for major trauma cases in northwest Alabama.
