Located in Holyoke, MA - Springfield, MA 8m; Hartford, CT 34m
Seeking a Psychiatrist for their long term psychiatric unit managed in conjunction with the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health.
* This is the perfect position for a psychiatrist interested in Community Psychiatry or who has completed a fellowship in Community Psychiatry.
* The patient's average length of stay is 18 months, which affords the psychiatrist time to formulate a diagnostic assessment, to develop effective pharmacological interventions and to experience a rewarding relationship with the patient.
* The experienced multidisciplinary team assists with all aspects of management, including the progressive movement towards independence and ultimately an effective aftercare plan.
* Hospital is a state-of-the-art freestanding hospital designed solely with behavioral health patients in mind.
* The space is bright and spacious, with beautiful views of the valley.
