ENT opportunity with established and growing CHRISTUS practice in Texarkana (NE Texas)

CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in collaboration with CHRISTUS St. Michael’s hospital in Texarkana is seeking a BE/BC Otolaryngologist (ENT) to join an established practice. This unique opportunity offers the stability and support of an employment model combined with the ability to maximize earnings through RVU-based compensation. The incoming physician will benefit from a strong referral network, existing patient demand, and the autonomy to expand on clinical interests.

 Practice Description:

• Practice offers exceptional growth potential; RVU-based compensation model rewards individual performance.
• Located on 120 wooded acres, the campus is home to two (2) CHRISTUS St. Michael hospitals, medical offices, and clinics, offering a collaborative environment and an ideal setting for professional growth.
• Well-equipped clinic featuring state-of-the-art diagnostic technology, updated NITUS audiology equipment, and modern endoscopic scopes.

• Growth opportunities include expanding surgical offerings and developing subspecialty interests based on clinical interests.
• A second Audiologist or APC will be hired to work with the new ENT Physician.

• Current clinical caseload:
  • Most common diagnosis: Ped tubes; Impact ears with external numbing; Tonsils and sinus surgery, including balloons
  • No cosmetic surgery work. Will do deviated septum when appropriate.

• Current Physician Schedule:

o Monday through Wednesdays: approximately 30 patients per day

o Thursdays: Dedicated OR block time in the morning followed by clinic.

o Friday: Off.

Call Coverage

• Current call schedule: 1:4; anticipated call: 1:5
• Telephone call only; no ED call requirement

Hospital Services:

• 311-bed acute care hospital with a Level III Emergency Department and a full range of medical specialties represented.
• Christus after-hours triage services nurse line assists with call duties
• Epic EMR utilized across both clinic and hospital settings.

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted Texas License at start of practice
• Texas Registered DEA
• BC/BE Residency trained in Otolaryngology 
• Upcoming graduation residents encouraged to inquire
