CHRISTUS Trinity Clinic in collaboration with CHRISTUS St. Michael’s hospital in Texarkana is seeking a BE/BC OB/GYN Physician to join an established practice. This unique opportunity offers the stability and support of an employment model combined with the ability to maximize earnings through RVU-based compensation. The incoming physician will benefit from a strong referral network, a growing patient base, and the autonomy to expand clinical interests.

Practice Details:

• • First-year income guarantee with a highly competitive RVU-based compensation model designed to reward individual productivity and performance.
  • Located on a picturesque 120-acre wooded campus, home to two CHRISTUS St. Michael hospitals, medical offices, and specialty clinics, fostering collaboration and professional growth.
  • Collaborative care model allows the OB/GYN physician to focus on areas of clinical interest while benefiting from strong APC support and patient access.
  • Established practice is well staffed by experienced Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs), including two Nurse Practitioners and a Certified Nurse Midwife, who manage a significant portion of clinic volume, including new and established OB/GYN patients.
  • Opportunity to build and grow a patient panel with clinical autonomy and a balanced scope of practice.
  • Physician responsibilities include outpatient OB/GYN care, surgical procedures, and participation in the call rotation for practice patients, in collaboration with APC providers.
  • Recruitment needs driven by long-term medical leave; the practice currently consists of one OB/GYN and shares call coverage with another local OB/GYN group.
  • Modern clinic space featuring 12 exam rooms, a dedicated procedure room for colposcopies, physician offices, laboratory services, and on-site ultrasound.
  • Dedicated surgical block time available. Surgical volume can be tailored to physician preference, with hysterectomies representing the highest-volume procedure, followed by cesarean sections and dilation and curettage (D&C) procedures.
  • Average delivery volume of 50 to 60 births per month, with a cesarean section rate of approximately 25%.
  • Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
  • Patient mix consists of approximately 60% obstetrics and 40% gynecology.
  • High-risk obstetrical cases are generally limited to obesity and gestational conditions. Patients requiring advanced maternal-fetal care or management of significant comorbidities are referred to specialists in Dallas, Texas, or Little Rock, Arkansas.
  • Additional obstetrical support provided by OBHG Laborist, assist with spontaneous overnight and weekend deliveries, enhancing physician work-life balance and call coverage.

Call Coverage and Hospital Rounds:

· OBGYNs from this group and 2 from another OBGYN group rotate and share five (5) 24-hour calls per month. Calls can be split between group members to be less than 24 hours.

· Currently OBGYN rounds 3 days/per week; with a new OBGYN physician; M-F rounds will be shared.

Hospital Services:

• 311-bed acute care hospital with a Level III Emergency Department and a full range of medical specialties represented.
• Christus after-hours triage services nurse line assists with call duties
• Epic EMR utilized across both clinic and hospital settings.

Qualifications:

• Unrestricted Texas License at start of practice
• Texas Registered DEA
• BC/BE Residency trained OB/GYN
