Responsibilities

Pediatrix Medical Group is offering exciting per diem opportunities for a Neonatologists to join our team of experienced providers for our practice in Flint, Michigan at Hurley Children’s Hospital.

  • 44-bed Level III NICU, with an average daily census of approximately 30 patients
  • A regional referral center offering a full range of pediatric sub-specialties
  • Responsibilities include attending high-risk deliveries, assessing critically ill neonates and administering comprehensive patient care
  • There are residency programs rotating through this facility including OB, pediatrics and family medicine.
  • 24/7 in house pediatric residents
  • Practice has a close working relationship with the University of Michigan and Wayne State and participates in VON and has impressive comparison for various quality metrics

Qualifications
  • Active MI license or IMLC license preferred
  • Board Certification in Neonatology required
  • A minimum of 1-year post-fellowship clinical experience required
  • Recent Neonatologist experience required (within the past 12 months)

 

Benefits and Compensation

 

Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.

 

We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
