HCA Florida Oak Hill Hospital in Brooksville is seeking a General Anesthesiologist who is interested in playing aa significant role in our ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program.  Our program is associated with the HCA Healthcare/University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, and we have a complement of 15 residents.  Just bring your desire to teach and we can help you with the rest!  We offer an attractive combination of competitive compensation and work/life balance, in a collaborative Anesthesia Care Team environment.  Be a part of something greater!  Help train residents while enjoying the benefits of private practice anesthesia.

Qualified Candidates:

• Possess MD or DO
• BE/BC in Anesthesiology
• Licensed in FL
• Desire to be part of a large, cohesive team of employed hospital professionals
• Passion for graduate medical education

Opportunity Highlights:

• Newly updated compensation plan + Additional core faculty GME stipend
• $75,000 start date bonus
• 10 weeks’ time away from practice
• Non-clinical GME time for didactic teaching, mentoring, evaluations, and scholarly activities
• Only 3 calls per month with guaranteed post-call days off + paid for calls taken above the minimum)
• 40-hour work week with peel-off relief system
• Anesthesia care team model of 14 anesthesiologists, 18 CRNAs and 15 residents
• Supervision ratios: APPs 1:4 | Resident 1:2
• Diverse case mix including general, orthopedics, vascular, urology, OB, GI, and endoscopy
• No trauma or pediatrics
